Our Roots
Dennis Jefferson Bowens, Sr. and Sharon W. Bowens are the proud parents of the honoree, Dennis Jefferson Bowens, Jr. Dennis Jr. was tragically killed in a car accident in September 2018. His Parents chose to keep his legacy alive by extending the many ways he brought value, peace and comfort to others. He impacted many, but through this foundation, they will be able to impact a Nation and “pay it forward” in LOVE! Here’s the story of this great man!

Some called him “Denny” Many called him “Alowishus”, friend, son and most of all just a wonderful all around human being.
The Dennis Jefferson Bowens Jr Foundation is not your ordinary foundation, it’s a ministry and movement all in one. Dennis reached the lives of many through his talents, services, and number one motto; “Live Life with no regrets”. This motto has transformed many lives of those connected and surrounded by Dennis. In life many are on a road looking for a pot of gold, and it’s easy to lose sight of what really matters. Some days maybe up, and the next day your down, but as we mature and grow we realize that’s how life is when climbing the ladder. What matters? From our date of birth there is a dash in between leading up to our resting date. That dash represents what you have done to pour into the lives of others, how much you have poured out of your vessel, and made this world a better place. As we mourn the loss of this champion, we realize sometimes you’re going to lose your breath, but we will never lose ourselves, and keep climbing the latter. The Foundation promotes and support the young entrepreneur, dreamer, or visionary; Services to the elderly, Assistance to the individual who plays any role in leadership, and one who wishes to peruse any type of higher learning including trade certifications. As the vision and mission of this foundation spread its wings to fly, your support is greatly appreciated. As you travel through your Journey always ask yourself; “Am I living my life with no regrets”?

Dennis Jefferson Bowens Jr Foundation Inc. is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. We make sure our partners are empowered by creating opportunities to focus on serving the senior communities. While providing scholarships for those aspiring higher education and trade professions.
The Dennis Jefferson Bowens Jr Foundation proudly presented a celebration of Dennis' 5 Year Angelversary and a Showcase of our Impact on lives in our community the past 5 years. It was a great success and we introduced a new initiative. We honored "Angel Moms" who also lost their sons.
